1. One atom said to another atom: Ah! I lost an electron!
The other atom said: Are you sure?

Atoms are extremely tiny particles that are all around us, so small that we can't see. They are made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Electrons are negative, protons are positive, and neutrons are neutral. An atom typically has the same amount of protons and electrons, this is what we call a neutral atom. When an atom looses an electron, there are more protons than electrons, making it positive instead of neutral.
2. Two chemists walks into a bar. The first asked: "can I have some H2O?". The second asked: " can I have some H2O too?". The second chemist died.
H2O is the chemical formula of water. When the second chemist ordered H2O, the word "too" was after the H2O. Too and two are homonyms, so H2O too became H2O2. H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide, which is used to bleach hair and laundry.
